Movie Review Star wars: the last Jedi

I liked the movie star wars the last Jedi very much. To my surprise I found absolutely scathing reviews and lot of critic bashing in IMDB.
I think it is because these reviewers must be dedicated fans of series while I am not. While I loved the original series, I don't have any sentiment regarding what couldn't be changed. I see it as a sub franchise under star wars banner, they are going to add something to make it stand out.
I think one thing that could have been the difference between the viewer and critics could be that I appeals to the people who have seen too  many blockbuster films. The film is quite unpredictable they don't hesitate to throw away the plot lines they have built over a long arc,they are clever in hiding the plot devices from reveling too much early on, there are some moments when you actually don't know which direction the story is going to go next, which has become rare in blockbuster films these days.
It is not a perfect film it does deviate from the franchise's lore,uses deus ex machina to solve plots but most of the time it is just amusing.

Whatever it's faults are it is definitely fun to watch.

Poojai movie review

Same old Hari formula.A fast screenplay that make all the meaningless sequence bearable .Can be watched one time and I didn't get bored through the movie,and in the end it was slightly okish.I felt the movie was somewhat like a telugu masala film may be it was intentional since the movie is being dubbed and released in Telugu.  Sruthi Hassan doesn't show good acting but she has limited character scope in the story so she manages.Vishal is in his usual form and  shows decent acting.I think this movie is better watched in theater not because it is great but because it fits theater viewing than home movie.

I really liked the movie very much but I will list the flaws first

Ridiculous product placement that are too obvious.The makers don't event try to hide that they have placed advertisements in the movie. Too many clichés from all sports films.We can find all the usual dramatizations of sports like a villainous opponent,hero(ine) falling and raising just before the bell to win the match etc.
may be just two but these are really spoilers for the movie
The good thing about the movie. Priyanka Chopra's Acting . The character of Mary Kom. Beautiful picturization of Mizoram. Mary Kom is a very powerful character and Priyanka Chopra does justice for the character.Her portrayal of mother torn between sons and career is amazing.
Whatch the movie I you like priyanka,Mary Kom Boxing,cool visuals etc.

Bueautiful love story(s)

The story of "Raja Rani" is: John(Arya) and Regina(Nayanthara) get married but they are both not happy about getting married.There is friction between them which is first shown funny but later get serous slowly they get to know each others past,Regina's love with Surya(Jai) and John's love with Keerthana(Nazriya) are shown.How the couple comes in terms with life and moves on is the story.

All three love stories are very different and are beautiful in their own way. The movie shows some great acting by all the characters.The characters done by Nazriya,Santhanam,the friends of Regina in office and college are all well created and acted.

Great movie but not what we expect

Unlike the previous movies there is no threat to mutants are humans the story is personal and we get to see Logan as more of a person than a killing machine.But I felt something missing I think the screenplay is a bit dragging since we got used to fast paced story telling of avengers and man of steel.

The scene after the credits that heralds Days of future past was a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect at all they will cut off wolverine's claws in the movie I hope they somehow give it back in the next movie. Unlike Xmen origins there is no one in this film to complement wolverine like sabertooth.
